Psalms 121:1-8 (NLT)
1 A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem. I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there?
2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!
3 He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
5 The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.
6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.
7 The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.
8 The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

In times of pressure and uncertainty, it’s natural to look outward for help—to fix our eyes on the biggest and most visible things around us, as if the answer lies somewhere beyond what we can see.
But for those who know their Redeemer, there is a deeper assurance: the help we need is not distant or waiting to arrive. He is present—active, watchful, and unceasing—dwelling within us, never pausing or growing weary in His care.
Because of this, our focus doesn’t have to wander in search of intervention. Instead, it can rest firmly on the One who never leaves or forsakes—who sees, protects, loves, and sustains through every visible and unseen danger.
He remains constant and unmoved in His care, and in that truth, the restless soul finds real peace and lasting rest.
